2009 ONE CALL FOR ALL! –Oct 2009
This year for the first time, Bainbridge Schools Foundation will be included in One Call for All, the red envelope for all island giving. Please designate BSF as a recipient for your donation!
2009 PHONATHON –Nov 17th, Nov 18th & Nov 19th
Each Autumn, a Phonathon is held to kick-off the school year and raise important dollars to fund teacher grants, teacher training and additional teachers for the Bainbridge Island School District. Thanks to the help of about 100+ volunteers, nearly every parent in the school district is called and asked to make a donation. Last year we raised over $160,000 in three days. Our goal this year is to increase school district family participation. Every dollar counts! This year we will be sending all donors who donate a dollar a day or $300 per year, a Bainbridge Schools Foundation license plate holder. The school with the highest participation for giving during the phonathon will receive a pizza party!
2009 Dinner Auction - Saturday, January 23rd, 2010
This is the Schools Foundation signature event for high end donors. The annual wine dinner features a guest chef, fine wines from around the region for tasting and a short but lively auction. This year the event at Wing Point Country Club was a huge success and grossed over $210,000! Thanks to all donors, volunteers and participants who made this event so memorable.
2010 SPRING Breakfast, "RISE TO THE CHALLENGE" March 19, 7am at Woodward
As a new event this year, BSF will sponsor an all island Spring Breakfast. Ed Viesturs, the only American to summit all fourteen 8,000 meter peaks without oxygen, will be our guest speaker.
